Welcome to Surf Life Saving Lower North Coast

Our Branch, Surf Life Saving Lower North Coast (SLSLNC) oversees the management, promotion, and advancement of Surf Lifesaving from Crowdy Head in the North, to Pacific Palms in the South.

We have six Surf Life Saving Clubs in our branch, and despite being small in member clubs compared to other branches, we cover an enormous stretch of coastline and our members have a strong volunteer ethos, excellent community first attitude, and commendable dedication to saving lives at our beaches.

Our Mission

To save lives, create great Australians and build better communities.

Surf Life Saving Lower North Coast Branch is the major water safety, drowning prevention and rescue organisation in the Barrington Coast region of NSW.

We are a network of volunteer surf lifesavers, professional lifeguards, support operations and drowning prevention infrastructure and systems.

What we do

Our primary role is to save lives on the beach, and our 6 clubs and their 1600 members, are part of the 129 Surf Life Saving Clubs and 74,000 members in NSW, making us one of the largest volunteer movements in Australia.

Surf Life Saving Lower North Coast is a not-for-profit organisation which relies on community generosity including donations, fundraising and corporate sponsorship.

Surf Life Saving is an inclusive and uniquely Australian movement which offers people young and old, the opportunity to make a difference, make friends and maybe save a life.
